Album Notes

The Duke City Chorus is a competition chorus. We were formed in 1998 and we seek to continuously improve our singing and performing skills. We are growing both in numbers and professionalism. This CD is a wonderful sampling of both familiar and unfamiliar Christmas music.

The Duke City Chorus is the premier, a capella chorus in the state of New Mexico. Our chorus is an audition chorus and each member admitted to the group must be able to sing selected songs in a quartet format. We have the highest expectations from our singers.

As a chapter of the Society for the preservation and encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, we are dedicated to spreading the joy and skills of harmonic, a capella singing to a wider, younger group. We offer youth programs where the environment is rich, joyous and exciting. The Duke City Chorus takes pride in its accomplishments, both on stage and in the community.
