This Is Not A Rock Band. It's a Rock Orchestra. It has a Curator and Conductor, it has tenured members and itinerant members, and honored guests. It has focused on the work of it's curator, it's members, and other artists. It could focus on any composer's work just as your community orchestra might do a whole season of Bach, followed by a season of Mozart.
The music on "Pretty-Ugly" is progressive rock fused with electronica. The songs are about people being pretty and ugly, smart and stupid. The music likens to the rhythmic interplays and structure flip-flops of Peter Gabriel, with the compelling intimate storyteller voice ala Leonard Cohen.
