You probably don't know his name, but if you have listened to the radio or watched network television in the last ten years, you may have heard his music.
Steven Dunston began his musical life as a five year old gospel performer. Twenty-one years of religious music immersion culminated in a degree in classical voice and composition. Steven then redirected his artistic voice into singer-songwriter style composition and scoring for film and television.
Still influenced by those early roots, whether he is scoring for television, or writing his own songs, Steven uses his music as a tool to help tell a story.
Having written over 200 songs, Steven enters his next creative phase with Hymns About Her, a stripped-back, emotionally haunting album. Laced with songs like "America,” “Little White Church,” and “Slow Road,” Hymns About Her celebrates feminine identity in love, religion and country.
