Album Notes

Dick Durham & Stef Scaggiari both have MA's in music, have played extensively in concert and club formats; they have appeared , separately and/or together at Kennedy Arts Center, The Tonight Show, Monterey Jazz Festival, Baltimore, Md's "Artscape".Chestertown, Md Jazz Festival, The White House, Japan's Concord/Fujitsu. They have appeared with well-known musicians like Ethel Ennis, Stanley Turrentine, Count Basie, Richard Davis, Buddy Defranco, Ernie Watts, Mel Torme.

Very very few two-piano endeavors exist;and these two world-class pianists perform(and improvise on) great standards, bossa novas, and originals.
Early buyers of this CD have come back for more; as one critic said, "If Ferrante and Teicher had played jazz piano instead of schlock, their albums would be treasures, like this one!"
