Dust Motes' debut album rests firmly on a foundation of catchy guitar hooks. The songs spread outward from that simple starting point, expanding into layer upon layer of additional guitars, groovy drums, lush vocals, and gritty electronics.

This is an album in the classic sense; it's not a mishmash of unrelated songs. Each track has a distinct headspace, and together they take the listener on a compelling audio journey, a listening experience with terrifying lows, dizzying highs, and irresistably creamy middles. The members of Dust Motes hail from Depth Charge (with Dean Garcia of Curve), the Casual Distractions, Lasers Shoot From Our Fangs, Instruction Shuttle, and Amoeba Crunch. Dust Motes is the distillation of their pop sensibilities and beautifully expresses their devotion to shoegazey rock.
