A long time ago, in a country far, far away...

I first heard of Dust Rhinos in Youtube, performing Step it out Mary. After hearing some bits of their performing some very well know songs in the net, I decided to buy their entire CD list and I must say it was worth every cent for CDs, transport and taxes.
The bands kicks off with a accelerated version of Black velvet band, a Dubliners classic, and goes on without a breath for three more songs, until the lower paced Got Guinness. It seemed like Ramones, without the 1,2,3,4 sequence in between songs!
I specially loved the Sailing with the Captain Pop-eye song...the problem is that I heard it first time on my car, on a fast lane in Rio...it did not help me going above the speed limit once or twice...anyway, it is an excelent album overall.

This is one of my all time favourite albums in our CD collection (400 strong and growing). My husband loves the Jedi Drinking Song and my favourite is a cover of Dear Prudence. I prefer this version to the Beatles. I definitely couldn't live without this album and neither should you. My only complaint is that the Dust Rhinos should venture out to Alberta to teach this province what a good Celtic bar band sounds like! :) Keep up the great work and keep bringing out the Guinness!
