Dusty Woods is the original Hardcore Honky-Tonk Man! Singer/songwriter Dusty Woods has been playing and singing for more than 45 years, much of that time on the road. Born in Vancouver, B.C., he has toured both as a bandleader and sideman throughout much of Canada and the U.S. His style is best described as hardcore honky-tonk - a mixture of blues, rockabilly, country and Cajun with just a dash of gospel.
He began in high school (mostly, like others before him, because it seemed like a good way to meet girls. Oh well, win some lose some) and decided to keep doing it when he found out that people mostly didn\'t throw things at him and he sometimes got paid. Since then, he\'s played every kind of venue from small Legion halls to A-rooms and outdoor festivals, making friends and fans everywhere he\'s appeared.
Besides being an accomplished singer, guitarist, bassist and song writer, Dusty is an international recording artist with several albums available and more on the way. Dusty\'s original music is popular around the world - his songs have been played on radio stations in America, Canada, Germany, France, Sweden, Australia, Belgium and Spain, and he has topped Internet song charts even as far away as Estonia!
Dusty now makes his home in Trail, B.C. with his wife of 29 years, Jeri-Lynn - an accomplished artist and graphic designer who helps with visual materials for Dusty\'s albums. But the music is only half of the equation. Dusty brings something to his shows that many others don\'t - entertainment. A show with Dusty Woods is non-stop music and fun.
