    I waited anxiously for payday so I could buy this CD and was so excited when I bought it! It arrived before a long road trip and I listened to it for all 12 hours of the drive. Her voice is incredible and lyrics are so "real." Even playing the CD in the background (when I can't focus on the music), all the music seems to match whatever mood my life is in perfectly. She is astounding - you will not be disappointed by this CD. In fact you'll probably wonder why you waited so long to get it...

    I first heard Antje (the little girl from the castle on the hill in Heidelberg) doing "Long Way". Her description of Montana, Arizona and expecially the South Dakota reservation that is a national tragedy brought back such vivid memories. When I heard "Anna" I almost couldn't breathe. I am old enough to be Antje father--I'll bet he's one proud papa.

    What a fantastic collection of songs. Antje brings a breath of fresh air to songwriting. The only thing better than this album is seeing Antje live. I had the chance and she was wonderful. Give this album a listen.

    In a dutch music magazine I read about Antje's studio album coming out. Knowing her music already thanks to CD Baby, I loved Big Dream Boulevard right away, starting with the beautifully arranged Dandelion. I am recommending the album wherever I can and I hope Antje will be coming to Holland soon.

    This is the third cd i have of Antje's and it too is quite amazing! I actually found her several years ago on this website and have been very grateful for that discovery. I recommend her to anyone and she will be sure to not disappoint! Please buy her cd's and try to see her live if possible. I am hoping to see her in DC sometime in January. Happy Listening.....

    I love Antje's music and appreciate the personal stories on her previous albums - they let us get to know her. But... I LOVE that on this album, the songs are unexplained! They're just there, in their naked form, waiting for us to attach our own experiences to them. I'm still getting used to the sythesized sound of the first couple tracks, but Ellis Paul's involvement adds a nice richness to Antje's sound and her new songs are wonderful (I can't stop listening to Diamond on Your Hand!).

    I can't stop listening to this CD. The rhythms of her songs are surprisingly original, the words actually say something, and overall, it just sounds great. Unlike most CDs, I love it when it gets stuck in my head.

    I was really worried that now that she is on a label that her songs would be overproduced instead of that real and raw feeling when you hear them in person. Hold On with Ellis is just simply perfect. Jerusalem...stunning, Sex Bandaid...GREAT, Dandelion, LOVE IT!!

    I've been following Antje's work since I saw her at Falconridge Folk Festival a few years back, and I have to say this is her best work yet. The tracks have just the right amount of polish -- they're not overproduced -- and the CD isn't filled with extraneous talk bits like her previous two, which makes it easy to listen to on repeat. I really enjoy this album and I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!

    Hardly to say anything after the Journals’ and Radios’ praises. Only I can say that is a very colourful music in Antje’s own style. Some old and some new songs, but each one is in brand new profil with fantastic arrangement. "Dandelion" like indie-folk evergreen with Flynn, "Go Now" or "Sex Bandaid" like pure rock stuff better and better loudly, "Diamond On Your Hand" like a melancholy dance, "Helpless Kiss" like a modern irish reels with John Doyle, "Jerusalem", "Judas", "South" like a soundtrack from a good movie, "Pearls" like a country ballad with a pedal-steel, "Anna" like a beautiful psalm, and in the end "Hold On" like a big sigh with Ellis Paul on background vocal..............highly recommended!

    For those who have been waiting for Antje to come out with a professionally produced CD that does her songs justice, wait no longer! If you already know the acoustic versions of songs such as Dandelion, Go Now and Sex Bandaid, it may take some getting used to hear these studio versions. But luckily Seamus Eagon's production does not often overwhelm Antje's ethereal voice, letting the underlying beauty of these songs shine through. The album skillfully blends songs aimed to have a more mainstream appeal--Dandelion, and Go Now, for example-- with more stripped down songs as we know them from Antje. Its really hard to pick a standout on this album, but there's no question in my mind that Judas, Pearls, South, Sex Bandaid, and Jerusalem are all major accomplishments that will be covered by other songwriters in the future. Ellis Paul says it best when he calls her the next big American folk singer. She's shown here that's she's a major new voice.
