Dylan Cash is one of Canada ’s newest stars of Canadian folk-pop music, a gifted songwriter and guitarist now in demand on the club circuit. For the past seven years, Dylan has been performing with his daughter and son in the rock band, HIP VOODOO, performing in clubs from Saskatchewan to Toronto .

So you may ask, how does a stay at home father of 3 make the transition from rock singer to folk-pop singer songwriter. With just one listen to his new CD , “For the love of a good woman”, you will soon discover the brilliance that lies within each and every song.

Dylan Cash started writing several years ago about what interests him and what has been going on in his life and that of his family.“

"I always try to write about what is passionate to me, mostly love. Love is a devastatingly powerful tool, it can be devastating in both good and bad ways”

“I have no idea if my songs will survie the test of time, so for now if they can bring a smile or a tear to someone, then my efforts were not in vain.”





Influenced by other perfomers such as Jack Johnson and Amos Lee, Dylan Cash has written beautiful songs about love which bring tears to the listeners eyes.

You just have to attend one of his concerts and you will find a very intimate setting , were one can look around and get a glimse of a tear from many of those in the audience. This is because through the music and lyrics Dylan Cash transports you to a place in your heart that allows you to feel with compassion and empathy, the true meaning of each song.

As a stay at home father, Dylan Cash lives in the countryside outside of Winnipeg , and enjoys the life of a devoted father and husband.

“For the love of a good woman”, conveys to you the love of a man towards the love of his life. He dedicated this cd to his wife Anne of almost 30 years.

Dylan demonstrates painterly skill for depicting the moments of weakness and devotion one feels when in love.
