Singer-songwriter guitarist Dylan Nirvana has shown himself to be a rocker with a literary flare. His first EP – Pentagonal Flower (available on i-Tunes) Gorgeous!, according to Urban Folk Magazine, takes up psychological themes like Oedipus with no-nonsense rock sensibilities. The new 11-song CD - Anne Boleyn on Icarian Records is no exception. Anne Boleyn is an ambitious album based on the second wife of King Henry VIII. Approached with self-effacing irony, his lyrics are smart and funny. And the music has an exciting glam garage sound. An excellent debut for this unique artist and performer.
Dylan Nirvana, "Punk Rocker" according to New York Magazine, defines new rock with smart lyricism and a glam garage sound. From London to New York City, Dylan Nirvana is a stand out. If you like the White Stripes, the Smiths and the Sex Pistols, this artist stands recommended.
