Highly energetical fusion with some fantastic bass grooves, odd time signatures, some holdsworthian moments, strange harmonies and parts sometimes reminiscent of King Crimson and Pierre Moerlen's Gong. You may need an open mind to meet this dysfunctional fusion that plays sometimes at the very edge of harmony and beat but it definitely worth the experience. A special bravo for the bass players, Mike Galway and Kevin Lewis who both show how inventive bass playing could still be as long as musicians explor their technique rather than just showing it off. Great fills, bass solos and hard grooves.If you like bass like in Brand X or the Mick Karn's sound you'll have to cast an hear on this CD. Definitly one of the most strange and inventite music I've heard for a long time. Five stars without any doubts.
