Dzyan's unique visionary music is characterized by rich, evocative soundscapes infused with sensuous danceable rhythms.
Drawing on 25 years of guitar playing and composition, he has developed his distinctive sound through the use of alternate guitar tunings accentuated by highly syncopated, irregular jazz-type meters.
His intricate and inventive rhythms, realized through an eclectic blend of ethnic percussion, form the foundation upon which the harmonic and melodic textures are overlaid with acoustic-electric guitar.
In his landmark album, ILUDHRA, he has drawn from myriad international influences ranging from African and Middle Eastern to Celtic and Latin.
