Album Notes

Eamon O'Tuama's debut album " Down With A Smile" was released in Eamon's native Ireland on the CBM label. Recorded, mixed and produced in New York by Greg Anderson and featuring performances from a wealth of talented Irish musicians including Seamus Egan, Win Horan and Susan McKeown, the album meshes the atmosphere of his adoptive and native homes. The songs, written in New York City, combine the influences of Irish and American folk with a contemporary rock sound. Many of the songs are about the experiences of growing up in Ireland and looking back with a mixture of cynicism, nostalgia and humor.

Great album!

I love this whole CD, it's hard to pick a favorite song... but if I had to, it would be Pages Blowing. Or Poor Baby. Or One Great Love. Oh, and I love Down by the Beach, and Satisfied, and Burning Smell of Love. Then there's Rusty Cars, Only Angry, and Are You Going to Love Me. And I can't forget Down With a Smile. ; ) And his other CD's are fantastic, as well. (Eamon, can't wait for the new Prod's album!)
