Album Notes

The E & J album took 2 years to make. We did 30 songs. We did 10 songs featuring Cedric The Entertainer singen and rappin along with E & J. All the songs were tight, but we took the best 15 songs and put them on this album and saved the other ones for the "Moodswing Records Vol I" album coming soon.
BigChris started a record label ( Moodswing Records ) under "Kingsbridge Entertainment," Cedric The Entertainer & E. Rhone's label in Feb. 2004. We will be doing some of the music for Ced and Erics (Swann) upcoming film productions.
The music on the album comes from years of playing rock, latin, reggae, classical and HipHop. BigChris' styles a unique mesh of all the styles he's been playing for years. E & J make a perfect compliment to his production style, because they are not just rap. Each of them have a very unique style of rap mixed with a colorful iklectic style of melodies. E (AKA Electric E) has a Belizian/,reggae style that can't be compared to anyone. J (AKA Twin) has a very rythmic style rap with an amazeing melody that makes his hooks superglue to your brain. You'll be singen the hooks on this album for days after you hear them for the 1st time.
The "E & J" album is something that hasn't been done yet and will be emulated by new artists for years to come.

Artists: E & J

Ernest and Jay came together in ' 84 wanting to make things happen with music. With the help of Lil Daddy da DON, E-Dubb was born and rap music would never be the same. (" Wait'll they get a load of us") The three of us ventured on to create the most incredible lyrical sound. Uh Ooohhhh here comes Big Chris with the sound were lookin for.
After many attempts of flirting with success, E & J kept on pushin knowing things would get rollin. Moodswing would be the right direction for us. The sound of Moodswing is a blend of what you have not yet heard before and what youre waitin to hear. So who do we say we sound like? " Juss listen To the album; Juss listen to the Mutha@#$!% album!

I really love it! There's a cut that Sounds Like Chingy
author: Karmala Beasley
I really love it. There is a cut that reminds me of Chingy - - you know "i like they way ya do dat right there", which is #9 on the CD, which some may think is sampling, but that cut is also my favorite one. The overall CD is definitely somethin you want to ride with. They did not use much profanity at all, which is good for the squares. i know i want somethin that sounds good! - -feel me? and then i move on to the next new hot hit. Your boys will do good with the right promotion.

Alright, first of all this is actually a really good album. Album, no filler. All the songs don't sound the same and you can tell that both E&J and BigChris put in some work. The beats are tight, the flows are tight. The beats are much more than beats and E&J does much more than flow. The tracks I liked the best sound to me like some old-school DJ Quick, but different. ANGELIC is THE tightest track on here, and should def be a single. E&J FOR REAL has more than talent and is alot better than alot of stuff on the radio. FOR REAL. The smoked out songs are cool too cause they have like a PinkFloydRap vibe to em. E&J is for real on the come up. If you dont get the album now youll end up getting it sooner or later.
