An epic album spanning two years worth of work, THINGS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM is the perfect way to introduce Earleybird as an artist to anyone whom has yet to discover him. Featuring many up and coming artists from the Northern Virginia Area, such as Pat Paul, Revolution, King Jakob and the January 2007 Source Magazine Unsigned Hype artist Sketch, as well as seasoned veterans such as the Witchdoctor of the critically-acclaimed Dungeon Family and the underground pioneer Myka Nyne of the Freestyle Fellowship, not only is THINGS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM a chance for Earleybird to work with some of his favorite artists, but it is a platform by which he creates his own voice and broadcasts his own experiences through hip-hop as an artist in the 21st century.
