Album Notes

You may not have heard of Earl Parker yet, but you soon will. His album/CD, Show Me The Money, has slowly been gathering steam since its release in early 2008, and his latest song, The Rebel In Me, is currently being played on country radio programs around the world.
Earl was born in England, his mother was Irish however, and it must have been from her that he inherited the urge to write and sing. The Irish are great drinkers, great raconteurs, romancers, musicians, and dancers: all great pedigrees for a country singer.
Earl doesn’t only write country songs though; his album is interspersed with a few pop tracks inspired by some of his musical heroes. In this age of the independent artist, the Internet is giving birth to a new collection of eclectic songwriters. Songwriters that know their work is going to be cherry picked by people with different musical tastes, and that’s perfectly OK with Earl, “It gives us all an opportunity to blur the edges a little,” he says.
Earl is soon going into the studio with a new band, a new sound, and a bunch of old dreams and nightmares; that he plans on turning into new country songs.
