Album Notes

Earlstown Winter is a wistful sounding country roots-rock collective who’s music encompasses the sounds of lost love, hope in the face of despair, and endless drives down lonely highways on a cold winter day. Acoustic ballads mix with upbeat rockers to create a familiar yet distinctive sound focusing on the importance of melodic and lyrically interesting songs. Band members Jonathan Truefitt, Mike Cline, Ben Coulas and Adam Fink form Earlstown Winter, who released their debut album “Easy Roads, Easy Skies” on the local Richmond independent record label Worn Records in late 2006. Since then the album has been gaining positive feedback including national airplay on a number of collage radio stations. If you have ever sat around sat around at 2am with a bottle of wine wondering where love went wrong, or driven underneath open skies looking for something yet everything at the same time, then Earlstown Winter may be the soundtrack to your life.
