Album Notes

First ever single-disc compilation to include all her biggest RCA hits!!!

Eartha Kitt is the stuff of which legends are made. In 2008, she is still as popular as when she made her classic RCA recordings in the mid to late '50s.

Proving a sensation in the Broadway revue New Faces of 1952, she enjoyed her first hit in 1953 with Uska Dara (#23), following it up with the classic C\'est Si Bon (#8) and closing the year with Santa Baby (#4).

This collection includes 22 of her best known numbers, many of which she still performs today. All selections were remastered from the original first generation tapes and the full color booklet includes an extensive essay as well as full track annotations.

This is a straight reissue of the original 7N compilation, which sold over 36,000 copies when originally released.
