Album Notes
musicians streaming down a river...

Justin Parker, Dwight Loop, and Lee Howard have crafted an elegant, organic tribal brew of a sound: without guitars. Samples, sounds and loops provided by Dwight; Justin and Lee , with only found instruments, or the instruments they had around, proceeded to graft and weave recorders, flutes, basses, voices, wood blocks, children's toys, synthiotics and the readings of ancient texts; including the works of 13th century Afgani poet Rumi, Romans Catallus, Polybius and Seneca...over,underneath,next to, on top of the wild sounds Dwight comes up with....

Lee's bass provides the steady deep subterranean groove underneath, and has introduced his guitano acoustic bass to the mix, adding a

moorish quality to the proceedings....

" I love working with justin; we laughed and invented, discovered and frolicked through our imaginations. This whole album is about limitations; finding the aesthetics of confinement in only being able to choose certain instruments....or certain, quietude and silence were used as instruments...

you know, Dwight is located in the bay area, so alot of this album was done remotely, or over the web...adding to the dynamic...

its also about how dwight's loops inspired in me a search for the love texts of ancient writers, stumbling upon Rumi's works...his rhythms fit perfectly with what we were doing; what a fantatsic discovery!

This collaboration sings of musical obedience...honoring fidelity, not vanity."

the album is complete....please listen, and share it with friends
