ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
BANG! from New York City is the 5th Earth People album and the first Earth People album in two years. The album blends the band's signature free sound with beats and genres from all over the world, including jazz, latin, soul, old school R&B, classical, funk, hard rock, and Gregorian chants.

Recorded spring 2004, BANG! from New York City is a tour de force of Earth People interplay. Many rehearsals were called before this jam packed concert to refine and reshape new and old Earth People compositions.

The results are filled with maximum energy and we think you'll agree that the name of the album fits the music perfectly. Enjoy!
