Album Notes

EBONMORTIS is a violent plague that was spawned just out side of the Chicagoland area in Hammond Indiana... Bacteria from the surrounding wasteland, has gathered strength and formed this mist of nocturnal wretch...A vicious blend of all things DARK,FAST,BRUTAL,CHUNKY and MELODIC... This plague to conquer all has been unleashed and set out for slaughter.

The band formed in 2004 with Dave Gormely and Josh Dwiel on guitars, Brian Scott on Drums and Cuntry on Vocals. They went on to play shows and even record the "Born Into Darkness" 6 track EP without a bassist.

After a year and a half as a 4-piece with no bassist, Eric Annable joined the band. EBONMORTIS was complete... But shortly after Eric's arrival, Dave had to leave the band. It wasn't long until Face, a long time friend of the band, joined as Dave's replacement. Now with full force, this plague is churning forth and spreading chaos across the land.

This album features art from Juan Ramirez, contributing artist for Halo, Halo 2 and Myth for the XBOX and PC. The album was recorded at SlavePit/Karma Studios in Richmond, Virginia. It was Engineered by Dave "Gibby" Gibson, Edited, Mixed, Mastered and Co-Produced by Cory Smoot of Karma Productions.
