Album Notes

eccodek's 'More Africa in Us' blends voices from Rwanda and Mali, ethnic and urban grooves, the Mongolian erhu's mournful melodies with electronic textures in a dub mix.

Influenced by Bill Laswell, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Thievery Corporation and African Head Charge, it is a seductive musical postcard.

eccodek's 2nd album is by Canadian producer and remixer Andrew McPherson, a member of the US chart topping, electro-jazz project four80east and remixer for Iceland's gusgus, Ireland's Andy White, Canada's Jane Siberry, Philosopher Kings, Natalie MacMaster and Seattle's Pigeonhed.
