Album Notes

Echelon 7 is an all electronic studio solo project created and produced from 1992 - 1996 entirely by Kevin La Bounty, frontman of the San Jose, CA based punk bands Kamikaze Radio, Boy Kicks Girl, and alt/rock band Tranquil Insanity. The songs were originally never meant to be publicly released, due their highly personal overtones regarding the horrible relationship I was in at that time. However, over the past 16 years I've come to realize the sheer greatness and potential of this project, and only now am I seriously dedicated and proud to release the very first full length album from Echelon 7.

Even more exciting, is the recent fact that I've also dug through an archive of digital audio tapes to retrieve songs I thought had been long forgotten, or never recorded before selling my studio gear years later. I have a complete second album ready to be released, but have yet to still record the vocals, let alone purchase the necessary gear to record them. Fear not, this is my next step after releasing the first album: Memoirs of The Black Labyrinth.

Want to help produce the second album? Easy, buy the first one and tell your friends.

As an independent artist, I rely on word of mouth of my fans and other bands to get the music out there. Thanks for your support, and please do not download my music illegally. You're literally taking food off my table, and prolonging the ability to buy equipment to release additional albums.

Thanks, love, & peace. -Kevin
