Album Notes

Echoes is a band with one purpose - to write and play the best music we possibly can. Beginning as the new, personal musical outlet for singer / guitarist Al Silveira in 2001, it soon grew into much more after the first release, "Echoes". Soon after, Al met up with drummer Tim Davis, and a true musical conneciton was born. Former REFUSE bandmate and good friend, bassist Leon Marcelis was asked to join soon after.
The trio quickly put together a set of songs for live shows that would ultimately become the second album, "The Key". The Echoes sound evolved from 2002 until 2004, with Al moving to Vancouver, WA in early 2003, and playing with drummer Jeff Johnson for most of 2003. Going from almost old-school metal of the first album, the sound evolved into a heavy rock in the vein of Big Wreck, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, and King's X. With Tim and Leon back on board for the new album, and a third already written, this is just the beginning for Echoes.
