notes
"Serious A Cappella"! Eclipse is a vocal group of six that creates explosive sound, driving rhythms, and lush harmonies using only one instrument, the human mouth.
"Incredibly tight and sensitive with the capablility to explode at any moment..." and "You won't believe that the only things up there are six guys and their microphones..." are just some of the reviews that have come recently from critics.
Eclipse brings a perfect mix of hit new songs and exciting new arrangements of popular tunes to their new album "Once". From the catchy pop stylings of "Look my Way" to the tender but intense, tight harmonies of "Danny Boy" this album is sure to please all ranges of listeners.
The men of Eclipse have twice been named Regional Champions of the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival (the nation's premier showcase for vocal harmony music) and have received three nominations, including "Best Pop/Rock Album", in the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards.
Eclipse was featured in both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. They also performed at three of the Medals Presentation Ceremonies along with daily performances at competition venues during all 17 days of the Olympics.
In 2003, Eclipse was named "Best Vocal Group" at Utah's Best of State Awards and "Group Recording Artist of the Year" at the Faith Centered Music Association's Pearl Awards. You can check them out on the web at www.eclipsesingers.com

Great in Concert - Very Good on CD
author: MBarneyThe CD is a very good piece of music and creativity. It is fun music. I have seen the group in concert (Seattle, WA)and live (2002 SLC Olympics). Very good performers; Fun and energetic; Plenty of talent. Decent harmonies and some of them have exceptional voices. Kevin is great with the music, also. Enjoy the CD.
The Best of the Best
author: AngieThis C.D. is one of the best that I have heard in along time. It is something that I certainly think everyone should have.
Barbara approves
author: Tyson JamesThis compact disc, Once by Eclipse, is widely approved by not only myself, but Ms. Barbara and Sandera Dee as well. Eclipse is a great ensemble, and the cd helped me out in my most dire need of assistance (when I was going from both ends). So, the chances of someone not liking this cd is slim to none but slim left town! (Tee Hee) ! O fiddle dee phats....buy this cd today! - Mr slimmer trimmer....from GEORGIAN COURT
Sweet harmonies
author: Brent KnudsenMy brothers are a professional a cappella band, and I know talent when I hear it. Their arrangement of Danny Boy is the most moving rendition I have ever heard of this sweet stirring melody. The talent and energy of the music here is enough to propel any musician to the top. I can't wait to hear their second album, but for a first album, this is good stuff.
better then the best
author: SandI've heard a variety of a cappella cd's but I'd really have to say this is better then best one I've ever listened to. They really know their stuff. :)
Their talent is out of this world.
author: April, Slc, UtI was visiting a friend when her brother came to drop of some of his groups CD's. After he left I asked what kind of music they did, she said a capella and threw one in the CD player. I was blown away. I bought one from her right then. I love this CD! And the songs just sound even better when done live (if improving on perfection is possible.) Whatever it takes, get yourself to a live performance.
I Love these Guys!
author: MindyThe first time I heard these guys was in a concert and I instantly fell in love with their music!!! I immediatly bought their C.D. and I'm always on their website trying to go to as many concerts as I can of theirs. They just have an amazing sound and it's fun to listen too!!!
eclipse
author: John SchmitJust another mormon a cappella boy band type group from Logan. These guys sound pretty good though for this kinda music, and they must have something going for them, because they appeared in the olympics. CD though sounds like all the other a cappella groups you've heard. Same cover tunes and only a few originals.
This CD is Great!!!
author: Ian WheelhouseThis Cd is Great!! I love to listen to it wherever I go. Some songs are really up beat while some are nice and smooth they really did a great job arranging the cd.
Never before have a heard a CD with talent.
author: SavannahThis CD is the best thing I have ever heard. The songs are rearranged in a unique style that you have to listen. The CD is one in a million and deserves to be heard by everyone.
Why I like it?
author: Amy StoddardThis is one of my favorite CDs! It is the best a capella music I have ever heard! I listen to it over and over and never get sick of it! The cd is so good because it has a variety of all types of songs, like slow and fast. I like how it has mixes of popular music, and what you guys wrote too. There isn't one dumb song on the whole CD. My favorite songs are King of Pain, and Danny Boy. They are all great songs, and I really like the meanings in them! This is a great CD, and I love it!
This is how a capella should be!
author: Michael StevensWhen I got this CD I was a bit sceptical about buying an "a capella" CD. However, as I listened to this masterpiece of sound and harmony I was instantly hooked. The sound that Eclipse brings to the music world is that of great energy through tight harmonies and perfect blend. With driving songs that make you want to sing along, like "Look My Way," and Eclipse's remix of ToTo's "Africa," and the beautiful sounds of "Sharing the Sky" and "Danny Boy," it is one that I am glad to have in my collection. If only there were more bands in the world that could produce a sound like unto this!
