In El Cajon one night our lead guitar player said he was leaving the band. I told John Khula, I was moving back to Los Angeles and start a band called, COWBOYS & INDIANS, Johnny said; I’m in! After writing a bunch of tunes, we went in to the recording studio, I sent a tape to Atlantic Records, and Keith Cowan (thank you keith!) offered us a recording deal. Here are some of the songs we recorded at Hit Single studio, Sound City and Cherokee for Atlantic, XS, and Nufire Records from 1986 to 90. –Eddie Cunningham (Coyote Man)
