ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Eddie Affleck is a well repected Scottish folksinger, he concentrates mainly on Scottish traditional songs, but also incorporates traditional and modern composed songs from other countries mainly England, Ireland, Canada and the United States.
The songs on this album 'The Land and the Sea' celebrate and describe the lives of people living and working on the land and the sea.
Some songs are newly composed and are recorded for the first time. The whole album is a pleasing combination of the old and the new.

Lovely CD
We are lucky enough to have seen Eddie performing live in York and this new CD is lovely example of his style and creativity, our current favourite is his own composition Redwood Cathedral - buy it now and enjoy.

John J

A fine Album
A mixture of modern and traditional; covers and own composition, and all delivered in the melodic and tuneful style of this excellent performer.

Val G

A CD by a talented performer
Very pleasant CD, easy to listen to and enjoy. Talented folk singer who has lots more to offer.
