Eddie Cantor peppy in interesting film
author: Cantor Fan
Special Delivery is a typical mid 1920s film -- no deep social message, just 60 minutes of lightweight and light-hearted antics. They've been done better, and worse. Eddie Cantor, Jobyna Ralston , and William Powell expertly reprise their typical roles. Reason enough. The video quality is so-so but easily watchable. If you like it, then you'll also like Kid Boots. Also included are some fun short shorts where Eddie sings and tells jokes that were ancient even 75 years ago.
