Album Notes

My name is Eddy Harrison. I have been singing cowboy and gospel music and writing songs for over fifty years. I have worked with various artists over the years including Stuart Hamblen and Cliffie Stone and have published with greats like Snuff Garrett and Red Steagall. This album is the second CD since 2000 and is a collection of songs that I wrote and some old time favorites and a couple of newer contemporary country favorites. The title song Waltz of the Rainbows is a song written especially about my wife of 48 years. Echoes From the Canyon and Roscoe Dinwitty Drove the Chuckwagon are new cowboy songs inspired by some of the Cowboy music heard at the Western Music Association gatherings and various shows that are becoming more and more popular throughout the country and are being played on European radio, Internet radio, and Special once a week FM radio shows. The Two Gospel songs are two of my favotites. I hope this album touches some hearts and revives some real precious memories. Eddy Harrison

O.J. Sikes Western Way Magazine says:
I always look forward to a new Eddy Harrison release. His latest "WALTZ OF THE RAINBOWS" , contains seven of his own compositions plus a couple of country classics. Eddy does a super job on Stephanie Davis's great "PRAIRIE LULLABY". His voice is not polished, but that gives a cowboy feel to it, and it is mighty pleasant listening. Eddy's rendition of "ECHOES FROM THE CANYON" is probably my favorite on the CD (though it has lots of competition from Stephanie's tune), but "ROSCOE DINWITTY DROVE THE CHUCKWAGON" is a great story song too. Joe Baker DJ KBNM Ruidoso New Mexico wrote enthusiastic liner notes 13 song in all.
This Album reached #2 on the Cowboy/ Western Swing chart in POWER SOURCE MAGAZINE in June 2007
