Album Notes

Eddy Jambo originally started to get into music in Sixth Grade with a Trombone when he learned how to read music. He began to play guitar in 8th grade, singing and playing acoustically. Thanks to his Dad being an audiophile, he listened to many different genres of music. It wasn’t till later on in his life he began to play blues, using it as a therapeutic way of expressing himself. His uncle Zaven Jambazian, a harmonica player who played with some well known blues artists such as Rod Piazza, Johnny Turner, Johnny Fulton, Otis Rush, Robert Cray, and most likely others, served as an influential and inspirational figure to Eddy Jambo. A few years ago, Eddy began to pick up the bass while being in a band in the Sacramento area, and in the years prior to that he had been experimenting with the keyboards. As he separated from that band he began to work on recording himself playing bass and using the keyboard for a drum beat along with guitar and singing to make songs. His first CD, “When Jambo Gitz Da Bluz”, released in 2006, was meant to be more blues/rock inspired with the availability of using it as a soundtrack. Shortly before the release of his first CD, Eddy performed and taught in the Guitar Class offered at Colfax High School in 2006 for a day. He has been performing in this class every semester since hoping to inspire the students. In 2007, Eddy Jambo released his second CD, “Naturez Wrath”. This CD is more of a Metal/Hard Rock genre with a touch of Middle East in a couple of tracks. This was inspired by a film/animation project from a close friend of his and sounds great on high end stereo systems. He is currently in progress with his third CD, which is expected to be released early 2009. Eddy Jambo plays all the instruments, masters all the tracks, graphic designs, and will overall solely produce the CD. Be ready for a new age of musicians that will no longer need big record companies. That’s the age Eddy Jambo lives in.-Biography by Sevon Jambazian

Fantastic independent release. I encourage people to pick it up. The only down side is the mastering on a few of tracks (eg. track 7), there is too much dynamic compression, and brickwalling. There is some distortion and clipping too ('loudness war' type stuff). But aside from those glitches, a fine fine record.
