Album Notes

I was singing at a house party and revealed "The Oprah Polka!" song that I had written a while back. A lady at the party said she was hearing the song as the Blues instead of the Polka. It made sense to me. Her conversation planted a seed in my brain and lo and behold the "I Love My Oprah Blues" song started to take shape. Well... here it is in all of it's glory. To me it fit's the Oprah experience to a "T". Dance, sing, prance, journal! Whatever your fancy you'll find it here. Go on, sing this song and love your Oprah too! It'll be good for you!

I Love My Oprah Blues! (Lyrics)

©2007-2010 Words & Music By: Eddy J Lemberger, Esayian Publishing (BMI)

Verse 1:
I must confess, My life was a mess
'Till I tuned in to this titan talk show queen
This chocolate cutie
Beauty with a booty!
Now I’m bubblin’ up in lofty self-esteem! Livin’ the dream! Here’s what I mean…

Chorus 1 :
I love my Oprah. I’m standin’ tall
I love my Oprah. I’m ear to ear, wall to wall
In love with Oprah. She’s my gal.
I preen, prance, journal every day. Anyone can tell.
My brain’s rewired… I’m inspired to live a brighter day the Oprah way! Hey!

Verse 2:
Hairstyles unique. Clothes, magnifique!
Girlfriend did you see those shoes she wore today?!
Here’s one hot honey
A loquacious lass with money!
A bomb with aplomb! A planetary phemon! Tell every gent and supermom…

Chorus 2 :
I love my Oprah. I’m feelin’ swell
I love my Oprah. My self esteem is peachy cream
I love my Oprah. She’s my gal
I preen, prance, journal every day. Anyone can tell.
My brain’s rewired… I’m inspired to live a brighter day the Oprah way! Hey!

Bridge:
She might present you with a car. Some perfume in a jar
A trinket or a treat beneath your seat
And then you’ll jump and scream and shout. “That’s what I’m talkin’ about!”
My home-girl’s got allure.
That’s what I know for sure!

(Repeat Chorus 1)

Coda:
I love my Oprah… It’s true…
You know what!? She love’s me too!
