Ed says: I asked “what can I do completely by myself with no overdubs and no multitracking? – just me, some recording equipment and a guitar?” Pushing my guitarist boundries. Many firsts: wearing all the hats, being the producer who helps lift the artist up when there seems to be no hope, insisting that there be no overdubs – all playable by one musician live, listening to the first takes and thinking “why are you doing this!?” and then bit by bit selecting the good stuff.
