Born in Douala, Cameroon in 1970, Edouardo BB is a versatile artist with many sensitivities and his music is a reflection of the richness and openness to world music.
Born into a musical family, Edouardo BB owes its musical awakening to his mother who, for the evening, put the side of his bed a radio.
From the age of 6 years, he plays drums with his friends in the neighborhood. It focuses more on guitar by his cousin Ms. Tonye Arlete and his brother Armand Ntep who played them already.
It manufactures its own drum kit and trains to play by listening to the radio and his father's nightclub. But soon, he joined the band in his neighborhood and begins to play in bars. Then come the school concerts that allow it to be spotted by Wattis Siwan with whom he toured all the provinces of Cameroon. He then discovers the richness of cultural diversity in his country.
By working with the Long Jam Bissa composed of Jerome, the late Ruben Bissa, Armand and Andrew Ntep Nkouaga, he deepens his knowledge in discovering jazz Charlie Parker, Ella Fitzgerald.
In order to develop, he is teaching courses with Elisabeth Blondet, Ms. Mouton to teach later in Douala at the Collège Libermann, the American School in the French School and a recreation center for 10 years.
Along with teaching he accompanied musicians and plays in various formations of music in clubs, cabarets, music halls of local government.
In 2001, when he was asked by to teach at the university, he left Cameroon for France and joined the company Mamy Wata involved in academies and also at the dance academy of the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
