Here, Ed Robinson is featured in some of his finest vocal
and piano work yet. His flexible and diversified style
allows him to settle into any number of grooves where he can swing, rock and croon lilke you've never heard before. Not only is Ed a powerful vocalist but he is also a strong
musician.
Playing piano (professional) since the age of six,
it is acurate to say that Ed and his music grew up together.

Recorded ‘live in Europe in the 90s, this “down to earth” Blues’ project begins with a simmering ‘swing’ that gradually leads up to a powerful crescendo that explodes with raw “soul” and excitement! You'll feel it all happening inside. This experience is a combination of blues and jazz not heard everyday. Ed Robinson gives an electrifying performance which is a display of outstanding vocals supported by equally outstanding piano work.

In our times, it is unusual to find an artist able to render a genuine performance of blues and jazz (‘swing or ballad)with such straight forward honesty. These elements combine to make this CD a must for the true collector of Blues & Jazz.

Also, one cannot help but notice the genius harmonica solos played by a true German -soul brother, all recorded in Germany!
This dynamite group of musicians (European and American.) give meaning to the word "power." Once they start smokin' this live performance ignites into a combustion of soul!!
