Why is it that by the time Christmas morning arrives, we all get so over-saturated with the trappings -- fake decorations awakened from storage, the rush to get the coolest stuff we can't afford, the infamous migrating holiday fruitcake -- that even the lilting soundtrack humming in the malls is crowded out beyond notice? Ed compiled this album, loaded with saxophone, piano, and smooth vocals, to cut through the noise of our hectic lives and inspire listeners to relax and enjoy a fresh musical and lyrical take on the season.

Assisted by world-class recording musicians John Ferraro on drums (Larry Carlton), Nick Brown on guitar (Burn Notice, Donna Summer) and mixer Les Brockmann (King of the Hill), with original lyrics by Patricia Smart. Each song and every solo has been created to capture the essence of the characters of Christmas. Ordinary people like us whose worlds were rocked into other-worldly circumstances that changed the world forever.
