Ed Summers, a simple, straight-forward man who says what he means. Nothing hidden. No secret agenda, just plain how it is. Originally from Detroit, he now lives in Tampa, Florida. Likes the warmth of the sun. Recently completed this project for Balladeer Recording. Everything is straight from the heart. Every song is drawn from some experience. After years of working 9-5's, he has finally decided to pursue his gifts.

Ed was the last person in his family that anyone would have imagined becoming a professional in the music industry. From a large family (especially after his mother remarried) of talented individuals, Ed never showed any interest in music until he was almost an adult. No playing, writing of any kind. His oldest step-brother is William Weatherspoon, a well known Motown Writer and Producer. (What Becomes of the Brokenhearted) That jump started Ed into motion. Now he is a Producer, Writer, Arranger, Engineer..... and the list goes on.

Every song on this CD will inspire you in many different ways. Enjoy the "Earth & Heaven" CD Volume 1. We know this CD will help you grow inside and outside.

    Whether starting or ending your day, listening to the CD is so exuberating. My favorite is GO FOR THE SOUL and MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY not to mention YOU CAN TAKE MY HAND. All the arrangements, so simple the mix, exquisitly accompolishes sound music principles that uplifts anyone's listening experience. Truly an extraordinary musical find.

    This CD is comprised of excellent listening material. The songs are rich in meaning and spirit. The composition of the artist is superior and each time I listen to the songs I am rendereed a calm and peaceful spirit. One in my car, at all times and in my home. This artist is indeed gifted musically and creates the most beautiful songs.

    It starts out smooth and grooves all the way through. The vocals are flawless with rich harmonies laying the foundation for the effortless lead vocals. "Til She Comes Back" should get any record exec's immediate attention. Terrific work.

    What can I say other than this is a true work of art. The artist apparently knows how to cook in the studio and the arrangement and lyrics are a masterpiece. Someone has done their homework. This Cd captured the Essense of what music use be and I am astounded at the way the lyrics were expressed so clearly and Eloquently. Ed summers, I wish you the best for this Cd and hope that this will not be the last. It is Apparent that you came from the school of Musicology when music was simply music. Truly a job well done.     This Cd is one of the best Cd's that I have ever heard and the way the artist blends the Spirtual and natural together leaves me speechless. This is a great Cd for anyone to start their day off with. Truly Excellent !

    I always enjoy listening to your CD. In fact, I play it so much that I may have to get another one because I listen to it all of the time! It is very refreshing to listen to and all of the lyrics and music are very well written and produced. I do not think I have ever heard anything quite like it. It is different in a good way and sounds refreshing every time I play it. That rarely happens with the other CDs I listen to. I think all of the songs on the CD, the one that touches me the most is "Calvary High". Anyway..... This CD sounds great and the songs are some of the best that I have heard in a very long time! Thanks and God bless.

    I really enjoy this CD. The music is not intrusive. You can put it on and go about your day without feeling interrupted. My favorite is "till she comes back". I love the arrangements. I don't know what it is, something quiet and sincere. It calms me down when I listen. My personal chill pill. Very inspiring. Thanks Ed for a great Recording.
