A multifaceted guitarist/singer/songwriter who plays many stringed instruments. You may know him as the guitarist for the rock band NITE LITE.
Starting out at age 3, on the violin and then moving to guitar with such influences as Steve Howe, Jimmy Page, Greg Lake, Ritchie Blackmore and Jim Croce; Ed has quite a unique, diversified style; blending various alternate tunings, with obscure instruments such as the Cuatro.
His mandolin skills can be heard on songs such as \'Father to Son\' and \'All About You\' from the Prayers and Lullabies CD as well as a dobro, sliding behind a rag picking, original tribute to Steve Howe called \'Pickin\' With Steve\'.
Not to be overlooked are also wonderful sounds emanating from a lap steel he plays on Call You Friend. Ed\'s smooth voice accompaniment with the stringed instruments, fit like a glove along with the very sensitive, yet visionary lyrics that leave you with dreamy images of an ethereal spirit world, much like Jon Anderson of \'Yes\'.
It\'s quite obvious that with influences like these, the bar was set high for Ed\'s musical expectations and he most certainly does not disappoint!
