Edye Evans Hyde has been performing jazz, blues, and pop music for 20 years in both Los Angeles and West Michigan, where she currently resides. She has appeared with actress Connie Stevens, blues singer Linda Hopkins, pop singer Michael Bolton and music icon Ray Charles, in addition to sharing the stage with some of LA's finest jazz musicians.

Edye is also among West Michigans most popular actors in musical theater and commercials. Her performances have included principle roles in, "Dream Girls," "Ain't Misbehavin," "Smokey Joe's Cafe," as well as an unforgettable portrayal of Billie Holiday in "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill."

Edye's CD "Girl Talk" is a collection of jazz standards interpreted as only Edye can: lovingly seasoned with the best elements of pop and blues.

The L.A Jazz Scene says Edye is "a strong singer who demonstrates an unmistakeable Sarah Vaughn influence... the listener can relate to her distinctive delivery."
