Eenor has got the goods - the real deal.
author: C J Crano
Eenor and his musical co-conspirators produce a wonderfully eclectic sound; sometimes dark, sometimes surreal, sometimes funny - always cool. It's at times very hard edged, always uncompromising and at times recalls the late great Snakefinger in it's overall appeal. But Eenor stands on his own as a creative force and virtuoso guitarist. This is underground rock at its very best and deserves a place above ground. Great playing, songwriting, and delivery.

Eenor, once the tall, imposingly cool six-string stroker for Colonel Les Claypoo
author: Dennis Cook
Eenor: Monkey To Monkey Fire up the water pipe and shake your mane! Eenor, once the tall, imposingly cool six-string stroker for Colonel Les Claypool's Frog Brigade, brings us a bent metal heart and who are we to refuse such a hard, lovely thing? One has to go back to Guns 'n' Roses' heyday to find this type of groove, rock that reminds us we have hips as we strut over to turn the stereo up. Pleasant tangents from the air guitar-inspiring rush include a credible Ozzy worthy ballad ("It's Even"), middle-eastern stomp ("Swimming Sans Dread"), a pretty dénouement, and a title track that flirts with Giorgio Moroder I-Love-To-Love-You-Baby dance drone. A tad schizophrenic perhaps but that's true of many debuts anxious to parade their plumage. A few friends pitch in on rhythm (notably Tommy Cappell's premium battered percussion on a half dozen cuts) and violin but the majority of the playing is the man himself, which is pretty impressive, especially when combined with his odd lyrical bent, incisive solos on both guitar and banjo (yes, banjo... a perfectly suitable vehicle for the fret minded), and an ear for compelling arrangements. There's a smattering of cartoon falsetto and bare-chested emoting but that's to be expected when one is rocking along a primate go-cart trip past giant hairy monsters to a cave where you're served strawberry jam and butter. Yum. *** Dennis Cook, Jambase

An interesting mishmash...and I mean that in a good way!
author: Salpy Kelian
Monkey to Monkey is an interesting album with a broad range of feel and atmosphere. Some songs make me think of chilling out on a patio, whereas other songs remind me of something you'd hear in a smokey pub during live mic night. Though there may be a wide range of feel to this album, I find that Eenor keeps everything effortless and smooth throughout. There is none of that "forcing it" feel that certain compositions have. His vocals match the style of each song perfectly and the instrumentals are neither overly complicated, nor too simple. If you're a listener who puts on a CD just to stay in one groove, don't pick this one! However, if you're up for some "listener challenge" pick this album up. It's a fun laid back album that is neither too hard, too soft, but just right!
