Album Notes

Inventor of the "Baglama Hydra," a triple -necked oud, saz, and bouzoukie, Scott Wilson has devoted his life to the performance of MId-East music.

This album is a collection of his favorites from Turkey, Egypt, Greece, Armenia, and Isreal, placed in a belly dance show format.

Besides the one hour of music, there is an interactive movie for most Mac computers and most later model PC's. It features Serena, world famous Mid-East dancer, teaching basic belly dance.

Scott and his group "Efendi" can be heard every Sunday night at "Cafe Figaro" in NYC's West Village.

This album is a must for any one who loves Mid- East music or dance!

Great Selection of Songs!

I have seen Scott Wilson and his band in NYC, and this CD really captures the great selection of languages, countries, and song styles they do. Happy songs, slow songs, rhythmic songs...a great selection!!! There is also a little belly dance movie right on the CD, to play in a computer. Cool!
