Album Notes

THE EFFENGEES
"Like a Garage Band - Only Louder"

Spontaneously combusting in 2001 on the shores of beautiful Pawtuckaway
Lake, the then yet to be named EffenGees jammed in a seaplane hangar.
Unknown to them, locals would "raft-up" their boats and dance to their
music, so the group was stunned when their first gig opportunity came
to them from one of these "eavesdroppers".

Deciding to get a little serious and starting the band were current
band mates; Tom Duffy on lead vocals and guitar, Dave Finn on drums,
Brian Goetz on percussion, guitar and back up vocals, Dan Mathis on
lead guitar, harmonica and back up vocals and Dave Renouf on bass.
Recently joining is Bill Quigley on vocals and guitar.

This eclectic rock and roll nucleus is often joined by the past members
and local guest singers that are always welcome when the can make it to
a gig.

This is a band about friendship. Everyone gets along and the fun is
unstoppable. Frontman Duffy engages the audience with wit and
enthusiasm while band members trade licks and laughs with each other
and the crowd. It’s not unusual for someone singing along to get
dragged onstage to join the band.

Playing everything from Aerosmith to ZZ Top with raw energy, they say
“never bring a chair, you won’t need it”.

After several “Live At The Lake” CDs The EffenGees are now releasing
through Transit Music Group “An Effengee Christmas Tree” with all
proceeds going to a great NH charity.
