Album Notes

CHECK OUT EFFRON'S PREVIOUS CD, "DAY IN THE SUN", ON CD BABY!

Effron White is a folk singer-songwriter from Fayetteville, Arkansas. The release of his second cd, "Yankee Dime", in 2004, coincides with his selection as a WINNER IN THE KERRVILLE FOLK FESTIVAL'S "NEW FOLK" COMPETITION FOR EMERGING SONGWRITERS. The well-crafted tunes and performances on this cd attest to his ability to entertain and move audiences in a great variety of ways, through songs that range from traditional folk to rock to country. With a voice that explores emotions through gritty earthiness ala Tom Waits, Guy Clark, or Bob Dylan, Effron will speak to your heart and show you new ways to look at love and life.

We heard Effron play in Fort Worth and thought the songs "Yankee Dime" and "Cattitude" were fabulous. We bought a CD at the event but enjoyed it so much we bought another for a friend.
