Heidi Eggesvik is a Norwegian singer/songwriter influenced and inspired by artists and songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Mari Boine, James Taylor, Thomas Dybdahl and traditional folkmusic (Norwegian/Irish/Celtic/Sami). Her music has evolved from deeply-personal folky stylings into pop. Her songs are lyric driven, catchy and melodic. Her folk and pop influences mixed with her recognizable clear,folky and at times “joiking” voice creates her own individual style and atmospheric sound.
