He was born in Los Angeles, California and polished his lyrical skills in the Bay Area. He moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2001 and now delivers his mind-provoking diatribe to the masses. The lyrical objective is to deliver a diary of life with his music that fans will listen to for years to come. His hard and soft-spoken delivery, has won him critical acclaim and acceptance from his fans and his peers around the world. Eighty Proof is the brains behind The Realist Entertainment, Inc. which he started 5 years ago. A former magazine publisher, his entrepreneurial designs led him to establish his own independent record label and release the Compilation cd "Enter The Realist, vol.1." This powerful display of talented MC's features Realist Family members, Ghetto Prophet, M.T. Da Blest One, Nut/Meg, and Gloworm. He is now working on his second solo album, Eighty Proof presents: I Can't Escape pt.1, expected for release on Sept. 11th 2007. The new single "Still Cali Luv" featuring The Realist Family, is blowing up on the underground at this time with no radio play.
