Album Notes
The fruit of a long collaboration, the duo EKEM creates music of the moment based on improvisation, inspired by jazz, electro and rock but also by contemporary music.

Far from musical stereotypes and all hegemony theory but also from all radicalism, the duo builds a personal universe coming from the sensations of the present moment. At times descriptive or abstract, at times lyrical or rhythmic, dense or refined, their music plays in either total freedom or follows pre-established directions (timed events, counter sensations, dialogues, monologues, diverse concepts,…)

The experience is enriched with theatrical color, interaction with other performers (painting, video, dance,…) . During this voyage, the sound, the image and the movement give rise to mutual stimulation. These playful interactions create emotion and curiosity in the listener (spectator).
