This album isn't about one man. Nor is it simply about Hip Hop music. LUCID is BIGGER than Hip Hop. LUCID is an awakening of the mind and spirit in the form of lyrical eloquence, mind-numbing beats and smooth production.

LUCID is a unique and ever-changing perspective about perception. It reads like a book...The LP starts out asking you to Rise Up and Revolutionize, then to Beware of the Ideology involving Politrix and to Look Around You. El*A*Kwents is consciously aware of social conditions, psycology, politics, philosophy, metaphysics, and religion. LUCID is a comparitive study of life in general and seriously examines where humanity stands right NOW.

This joint is the first solo venture for EL, an album that EL excusively produced with the exception of one track. The time and effort put in to this project is the time and effort El*A*Kwents strives to keep in everyday life. El*A*Kwents sends a message of clear understanding, a message of hope and a vision for a better day ahead. Also, a key fact of understanding is that EL is yet only a part of the collective world we live in. We are all connected intricately through space and time...
