notes

I am like you
what sets me apart is a funny set of circumstances:
what inspires me
what keeps me honest
and of course choices I have made

I happen to live in a small coastal town
no traffic lights
lots of agriculture
cows propped up like wooden signs on rolling knuckles
that look like hills

I work at a lumber yard
stacking dead trees
scooping up dead mountains with a tractor
a stark contrast to the contractors who think themselves as creators

I create through music
singing to the forklift
