Album Notes

ERIC LEE BEDDINGFIELD, THE POWERHOUSE OF THE SOUTH

With one foot in the old South and one in tomorrow's iPods, Eric Lee Beddingfield is a new force in country and southern rock. His self-titled debut CD is produced by the legendary Kent Wells. A former Georgia Southern University football player his fans call "the Powerhouse of the South", Eric says his new CD represents "eight years of dreaming, driving, pickin’, singing, fighting, laughing, and making new friends all over the Southeastern United States."

The writting and singing talents of this true Southern Rocker are undeniable. He's a poet, a wordsmith and an image weaver with a voice that makes Waylon Jennings, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin fans step up and listen.

Eric' band has opened for the very artists that once vibrated the windows of his pickup: Travis Tritt, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels and George Jones.

The first single, on Double Diamond Entertainment's label, now released and playing on radio, Kill the Mullet, is a musical kick in the behind written by the multi-talented, award winning Chris Wallin. Chris heard Eric working in the production studio and simply said, this is the man to record this hit song and make it work.

This spring Eric Lee Beddingfield will be touring Kill the Mullet in 120 of the top dance clubs in the United States. A special dance is available for clubs and digital sales.

When It comes to "Kill the Mullet", ELB puts his money where his mouth is. He cut his trademark long hair at a Nashville event he organized in support of Locks of Love. Through this one promotion at Nashville salons, Eric received donations of over 100 locks of hair for cancer survivors.

Since the launch of his Double Daimond Entertainment relationship, Eric Lee Beddingfield's future has taken off. From small town college fraternity parties, to producing potential new hits with the likes of Dolly Parton, ELB is not just another small town hero.

Eric and I played high school football together and all the lyrics to his songs ring true; he is a down-to-earth guy who is proud of his roots in the Old South. Good luck Eric, the boys from Augusta sure are proud.
