Album Notes

Welcome from Elder Mason. We are four guys from all over the country that found one another in Seattle amongst the ashes of other music-scenes, rather than the ashes of other bands.

We got together to make epic music... Dense and lush, with blissful organs and raging fuzz guitars, all held together by bombastic drumming. It's equal parts backward-looking (Beatles, ELO, Pink Floyd) and forward-thinking (Wilco, Flaming Lips, Secret Machines).

Our first record, "The Seclusionist Speaks..." was mixed by Scott Colburn (Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, Feral Children) and will be out at the tail-end of 2008.

"The Revival" has also been chosen by nadamucho.com, a local Seattle music and culture blog, for inclusion on their compilation "Songs from the Seattle Underground".
