ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"This latest project of, as always, all original songs employs a veritable super group of Twin Cities indie rock musicians who help create a sound that is a mosh of alternative and classic country, songwriter pop, americana, garage rock and roll, and a little hint of rockabilly. One hears the influence of Johnny Cash, Lucinda Williams, X, Gram Parsons, Willie Nelson, R.E.M., and Buck Owens; just to name a few. His witty lyricism and catchy melodies combine to make a powerful sound ripe for the ages; all at once old and new. His words combine an aged wisdom and profound emotion with an occasional devious humor, all of which make his music accessible to just about everyone, regardless of age or personal taste."

Awesome album!
This was such an amazing album. Who knew the twin cities had such fantastic country artists hidden away? Thanks to El Drifte for his soothing voice and musical genius!
